About the artwork:
This piece is one of The Great Print’s earliest Bitcoin artworks and holds a special place in his collection. Inspired by the many interpretations of Jacques-Louis David’s iconic painting Napoleon Crossing the Alps, he sets out to create his own version, featuring Satoshi Nakamoto as Napoleon. This artwork has been digitally drawn by hand from The Great Print.
About the artist:
The Great Print – Bitcoin Art created with low time preference. With his pen, The Great Print writes down his private keys and uses them as a tool of freedom, spreading Bitcoin’s message to the world. Through his art, he documents the 21st-century monetary revolution, using nothing more than a simple pen.
In his youth, he experimented with a wide range of mediums. By the time he was 16, he had completely shifted away from traditional art, delving into photography and digital painting. After he turned 30, he rediscovered his passion for traditional art. He was always searching for deeper meaning in his work, and the fusion of Bitcoin and art has finally given his creations that sense of purpose.
