About the artwork:
Made from 35 US $1 bills, all covered in fine gold, this work, called Step Back, is designed to make you take a step back in your understanding of currency. When you step back, the Bitcoin logo will become obvious. 

Limited to 10 copies in this format. 

Presented in a matt black aluminum frame.

About the artist:
A self-taught plastic artist, NAJP fell down the rabbit hole a long time ago. The more he understands about Bitcoin, the less he understands about currencies. The artist denounces this through his works by attacking representations of the Fiat system.
Most of the works are made with US Dollars, the symbol of this system. In opposition to what, for him, is now just paper, NAJP restores this value by affixing gold leaf to reveal Bitcoin and its promise.
Highlighting these two opposites is the vision and message delivered by the artist through his work. Although Maximalist in appearance, NAJP remains open-minded, and the same goes for his art, which expands in different techniques, forms and representations as it evolves.
